2. Your membership fee helps JSA to offer our activities at-cost or for free.
JSA's leadership works on a volunteer basis. Membership fees help JSA meet its annual budget with its varied and sometimes unexpected costs.
3. Membership is one indicator of JSA’s success in meeting its goals when we apply to our funders, such as the Japan Foundation and U.S. Department of Education Centers for East Asian Studies.
As a JSA member you will receive timely information about workshop, webinar and grant-funded opportunities.
